The Celebration
We want to do something special and unique for our wedding, but we also didn't want the traditional wedding that a 20-something dreams to have. We love the lakes in AZ, especially Saguaro and Canyon lakes. We've hung out, hiked, and gone paddleboarding on both of these lakes.
Both of these lakes also have tour boats that we've experienced. So, we chartered one just for our wedding!
The Ceremony
Dec. 29, 2:30 PM — Desert Belle Cruises - Saguaro Lake, Arizona
Please arrive by 2pm.
We love Saguaro & Canyon lakes in AZ, and we've chosen to celebrate with you by chartering the Desert Belle boat. The wedding will start at 2:30pm, so we will need you all on the boat at that time. Arriving at 2pm will help make that work.
Then we will have a 2-3 hour dinner cruise on Saguaro Lake.
What to wear & expect
The wedding ceremony will be on the top deck of the Desert Belle. There is a cover over the top deck, but it is an outdoor top deck. The lower deck is fully enclosed and heated/AC, and dinner will be served there immediately following the ceremony.
We really don't care what you wear. We simply want you there. Overall, we expect this to me more casual than a formal church wedding. Look good & be comfortable.
The average temperature in Mesa, AZ on Dec. 29 is a high of 69 and a low of 37. Dress accordingly.
The Reception
We don't know yet. :)
The wedding and reception is all formally on the Desert Belle. We will likely rent some space or invite people back to our home simply to hang out and enjoy family and friends. Nothing formal, very casual.
